As a merchant, you have to give your customers the option of using a credit card for their purchases because your competitor does. And this is most important for the larger purchases, because most often the customer likes to spread the cost over a couple of months.

The problem is that most banks are not interested in you unless your account can be measured in the seven figures. This puts you at a distinct disadvantage and in a "catch 22" situation in that, without giving credit, you cannot "grow" your business and that unless you have a large business already, you cannot give credit.

That was true until now...We at GDG Associates in cooperation with FPA and a large credit card processing center can now offer MERCHANT ACCOUNTS to nearly 97% of all businesses. This can be done because of "Electronic Transaction Processing" and the power of numbers. With a large number of small businesses doing transactions, the costs become competitive. And because most transactions are done electronically, the charges to businesses can be keep as low as 1.55% (on live transactions) and as low as 2.55% (on mail or phone orders). Note: the processing center can also take paper transactions but at a higher rate.

We also offer low rates on the leasing of the terminal equipment. And if you already have a higher rate merchant account from someone else, we can re program your equipment over the phone from our processing center. You could be growing your business within weeks. Our setup charges are: A one time application fee of $95 and the purchase or lease of the terminal equipment with prices as low as $695. A re programming charge of $295 is required for merchants with existing equipment. Specials on used equipment are sometimes available.
